International Marketing

Marketing is all about determining consumer needs and wants and then fulfilling them with the creation of relevant products, images, and services. An international marketing major allows you to do this on a global scale. You'll get the chance to work in an exciting, constantly changing field and learn more about global business while doing so. International marketing programs provide detailed instruction on topics like foreign trade operations, consumer behavior, international public relations, and digital trends. You'll learn more about sales, consumer expectations, promotions management, social media, risk - the list is endless. There's always a need for skilled marketing professionals, which should set your mind at ease. Many people start out as salespeople to get to know a company's products or services before moving into another role in the marketing department. However, not everyone is a natural-born salesperson. International marketing majors can find themselves working in public relations roles, as digital marketing planners, promotions managers, branding professionals, writers, or even market researchers. No matter what your skillset is, chances are there's a career within the marketing field to accommodate it.
